Happy Wednesday :) Today, I wanted to share with you all some of my favorite pieces that I've recently added to my bedroom within the past fews weeks. For the longest time, my bedroom was pretty bare with just the basics, honestly just because I didn't feel like buying any decor to "spice it up."

I finally caved and bought a few things that caught my eye.

One of my favorite places to shop for home decor (which I'm sure tons of you would agree with me) is Home Goods. Home Goods is where I purchased everything below. The only downside is that since they don't have a website that you can purchase items from, I can't link anything. But I'm sure you guys would be able to find something super cute and similar in your local Home Goods.

Shoutout to New York, my home state, lol. My bedroom walls are really bare and when I saw this framed picture, I thought it was really cool and the colors complemented my gray themed bedroom so I had to have it.

I'm including this lamp as a part of my favorite decor because I've never had any other form of light in my room other that the ceiling light. Weird I know. It gives off just enough light and is not too dim or bright. I went to Home Goods specifically looking for a desk light and this was the only one that they had that was small enough and matched the colors of my room.

I was so happy when I finally found a jewelry organizer that was big enough to hold my jewelry, especially my longer necklaces. The three tier organizer that I found was tall enough to do that and the bottom was big enough to hold all of my rings that I regularly wear.

When I saw this bench at Home Goods, I fell in love with it! I thought it was super cute and totally my aesthetic. My bedroom is not that big by any means so whenever I'm buying furniture, I have to take into consideration the size so my room doesn't look crowded or consumed with furniture.

I love that this little bench has under storage so I've been finding that's its the best place to put my bag everyday that I come home that is out of the way but still in a convenient place so I could just grab it and go. It also makes it a lot easier for me to have some place to sit to put my shoes on.

One piece that I had been looking for for a while was a bed tray to place things like my remotes and my iPad when not in use. I found this wooden tray and the best thing about it was that it wasn't too big and it wasn't too small. I even find myself using it to hold food on the rare occasions that I eat in my room.

I'm still actively searching for other pieces to add to my room which is still a work in progress. My next item that I will be looking for is going to be a wall decal, preferably one that is travel related since traveling is something that I love to do.

What is your favorite room decor in your bedroom? Let me know below!
