Cabin in the Woods
Monday, October 30, 2017A few weeks ago, I took a hiking trip to the Adirondacks for a long weekend up in the mountains and more importantly, away from New York City. I love everything about country living: neighbors are few and far in between, no traffic (the best ever!!), winding roads, and plenty of land. To set the mood, what better place to stay than a cabin? This cabin was amazing, and even cooler... it was an Airbnb! It wasn't my first time staying in an Airbnb, as I stayed in one on a recent trip to Montreal. But to be 100% honest, the Montreal Airbnb wasn't the best (it wasn't chosen by me) and it kind of turned me off from using the site. I'm used to staying in hotels whenever I go away as its a comfort thing and you always know what you're going to get. I decided to put my past grievances with the previous Airbnb aside and revisit the site again, since a cabin was a must for this trip. And I'm glad I did since I found this gem. Not only was the inside an A+, cozy and homey, but as you can see the outside also had views not worth complaining about.
After reading all reviews on Airbnb, the overall consensus was (and I agree from firsthand experience) the cabin is so much better in person. The pictures do not do it justice! If you're ever looking for a place to stay in the Adirondacks, check out the cabin on Airbnb. You won't be disappointed. Airbnb link
