I'm really picky when it comes to mascara. The formula has to be just right, not too thick and definitely not watery. Even the brush has to be just right. Though I have go-to mascara's, I'm always open to trying new ones. I haven't used many Rimmel mascara's so after seeing an ad for a NON CLUMPING(!!) mascara (every girls dream), I had to try the Shake It Fresh.

A few weeks ago, I took a hiking trip to the Adirondacks for a long weekend up in the mountains and more importantly, away from New York City. I love everything about country living: neighbors are few and far in between, no traffic (the best ever!!), winding roads, and plenty of land. To set the mood, what better place to stay than a cabin? This cabin was amazing, and even cooler... it was an Airbnb! It wasn't my first time staying in an Airbnb, as I stayed in one on a recent trip to Montreal. But to be 100% honest, the Montreal Airbnb wasn't the best (it wasn't chosen by me) and it kind of turned me off from using the site. I'm used to staying in hotels whenever I go away as its a comfort thing and you always know what you're going to get. I decided to put my past grievances with the previous Airbnb aside and revisit the site again, since a cabin was a must for this trip. And I'm glad I did since I found this gem. Not only was the inside an A+, cozy and homey, but as you can see the outside also had views not worth complaining about.

I love music. I listen to so many styles of music that there are 32 different genres in my Apple Music. Yes, 32. Music is good for the soul, like chicken soup. (Big high five if you get that reference!) But one genre that will always have a special place in me is country music. Country music is where the stories are told and I love a good story. October saw the release of a lot of new music from some of my favorite country artists. Below are my top 5 of the month I want to share with you:
